Questions about the Assessment
What does the Assessment cost and how long does it take?
$750–$1,500 depending on the size of the codebase, delivered in 3–5 working days from the day we receive access. The fee is credited against the upgrade if you sign within 30 days.
Is the Assessment really read-only?
Yes. We do not commit, deploy, change configuration or run anything against production. We read code, dependency manifests, environment descriptions and, if you grant it, a read-only server session. The only output is the report and the call.
What if we don't have the source code?
Then recovering it is step one, and the Assessment can start with a read-only look at the server to find where the code and database live. The developer-left guide lists what to secure first: hosting billing, domain, repository, server access.
Can we use the report with another supplier?
Yes. The report is written so any competent Laravel team can execute it — versions, hops, package replacements, risks and the order of work. It is yours the moment it is delivered.
When do we pay?
After the 20-minute call, we send the scope and an invoice. Work starts when it is paid and access is in place. No payment is taken through this form.
